The CBG Health Train continued its journey of impact, bringing essential health services directly to the communities in Ashaiman and Community 20 (Lashibi-Cambodia).
This time, the health outreach extended to the Baptist International Church with visits to its Tower of Glory branch in Community 20 (Lashibi-Cambodia) and Temple of Love branch in Ashaiman, where congregants received free blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screening.
Our Managing Director, Dr. Naomi Kwetey, was present during the screening and underscored CBG’s sustained commitment to improving health outcomes and promoting preventive care within the communities we serve.
Through on-site professional health practitioners, participants were screened and also received guidance to make informed decisions about their well-being. Many expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to access free, professional health checks within their place of worship, noting the reassurance and clarity the screenings provided.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Naomi Kwetey stated, “Preventive care is one of the most powerful investments we can make as individuals and as a nation. By bringing these services closer to our communities, we are empowering people with knowledge that can protect and improve their quality of life.”
