Representatives from Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd. (CBG), led by the Deputy Managing Director of Retail Banking, Operations, and Support Services, Mrs. Florence Adei Ohene, have paid a working visit to the Honourable Issifu Seidu, Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability.

The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to deliberate on areas for enhanced collaboration between the Ministry and the Bank, with a focus on initiatives that will deliver measurable and sustainable impact.

During the meeting, the Minister expressed his willingness to support CBG in its sustainability journey and assured the Bank of his Ministry’s readiness to provide technical guidance and support whenever required.

Mrs. Adei Ohene, on her part, reaffirmed CBG’s commitment to partnering with the Ministry and underscored the importance of the Ministry’s guidance in advancing sustainability practices, not only for the Bank but for Ghana’s broader development agenda.

She also introduced members of the CBG Sustainable Finance Team and conveyed season’s greetings on behalf of CBG’s Managing Director, Dr. Naomi Kwetey, and the Deputy Managing Director for Corporate, Business Banking and Technology, Madam Sheila Azuntaba.
