Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD. (CBG) has extended its health outreach initiative, “Know Your Numbers”, to the Adaklu Waya community in the Volta Region as part of its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and preventive healthcare.

The outreach, held at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, marked the seventh and final health outreach undertaken by the Bank this year under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

The initiative also formed part of activities to commemorate Mother’s Day, with over 300 women benefiting from free health screening and medical support services.

Residents received free healthcare services, including blood pressure screening, blood sugar testing, cholesterol checks, general medical consultation, and medication support. The outreach also included home visits for elderly community members who were unable to visit the screening centre.

In her speech at the event, Dr. Naomi Wolali Kwetey, the Managing Director of CBG, highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare and the need to make basic health services more accessible. “Many people do not prioritize routine health checks due to their daily commitments. Through this initiative, we are bringing healthcare directly to the community and encouraging individuals to know their numbers and take proactive steps towards their well-being,” she stated.

She further noted that the outreach reflected the Bank’s broader commitment to supporting communities beyond banking services.

As part of the visit, the CBG delegation paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Adaklu, Togbega Gbogbi Atsa V and his Council of Elders, who welcomed the initiative and expressed their gratitude to the Bank for extending the outreach to their community.

Hon. Jerry Yao Ameko, the District Chief Executive for Adaklu, also commended CBG for its impactful intervention and its contribution to promoting healthcare awareness and community well-being in the district.

CBG continues to prioritize health, financial empowerment, and community well-being in its CSR agenda, reinforcing its belief that healthy, financially informed communities are essential to sustainable national development.
